Ptech Intelligent Home Automation Ltd

1.Ptech and P*Tech are  the trading names of Ptech Intelligent Home Automation Ltd, PO Box 8653, Alcester B49 5DG.   Company Registration number 4008067, Registered Office 15 High Street, Lydney, Gloucs   GL15 5DP.

2. In the following terms and conditions, the words “you” and “your” refer to any person accessing the Ptech web order page; and the words “we”,”us” and “our” refer to  Ptech.

3. These terms and conditions apply to create a separate contract each time you purchase a product at Ptech.org.uk   (“the product”).  Please read them carefully; you may wish to print this document for future reference.

4. All Prices are in Pounds Sterling. We reserve the right to change any advertised price before you place an order. All prices include value added or purchase tax at the relevant local rate, which will be specified at the time of ordering. We confirm that telecommunications charges incurred during your visit to Ptech are your responsibility.

5. Purchases may be made by telephone or mail from  Ptech using the following major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Delta and Switch. All personal and credit card details are transmitted over the secure site run by BTStore on  the Internet.  Payments will be debited before products are despatched. Delivery of the product will be subject to our Shipping Policy.

6. You will not resell, hire, sub-license, assign, copy, modify, merge, distribute, transfer, decompile or reverse engineer the product, except as expressly provided by us in these terms and conditions, or to the extent that the restriction is not permitted under applicable law. You will be responsible for providing a safe, secure and satisfactory operating environment in which to use the product.

7. All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.  We will inform you if a particular product is unavailable for any reason and you will receive a refund of any money you have paid for the unavailable product as soon as possible, and certainly within 30 days of the day you sent your order to us.

8. In certain countries you will have the right to withdraw from a purchase contract entered into over the Internet within 7 working days of receiving the goods purchased. If you wish to exercise such a right of withdrawal you must notify us by email to [email protected] that you wish to return the products purchased, and immediately send the products in their original unopened condition to us by first class mail at your expense. Once we have received the products, we will refund the purchase price to you as soon as possible, and certainly within 30 days.

9. We regret that we cannot exchange a product once the package is opened (unless the goods are faulty, in which case our Returns Policy below will apply) and we can only exchange the product if it was incorrectly supplied by us initially.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your computer hardware and software meet the system requirements stated for any product. As soon as we have delivered the products to you, you will be responsible for it, subject to these terms and conditions.

10. Goods must be sent to Credit Card holders’ address. Orders may be delayed if delivery address differs from Card Holders.

11. In the case of non-delivery, please wait for 5 days from the date of your order before contacting us at [email protected] or by post at the above address, in case delivery has been delayed.

12. In the unlikely event that a product is defective on delivery or damaged in transit, please contact us at [email protected] or by post at the contact address within 10 days of delivery. If the product is defective or damaged other than as a result of your negligence or wilful misconduct, you may arrange for its return to us in accordance with our Returns Policy and we will either:(a) repair or replace the product, or part of it; or (b) refund the purchase price and cost of return postage at our discretion.

13. We warrant that the products will, at the time of delivery, correspond to our description of them.

14. You consent to the storage and processing of your personal data by us in connection with the business of PTECH and to the transmission of this data to our business partners for the purposes of our legitimate interests, including fulfilment of your order, statistical analysis, and marketing our products.

15. We accept liability for foreseeable loss or damage arising out of our breach of contract, negligence or wilful misconduct.  We will not be liable for any loss or damage related to any business of yours, such as lost data, lost profits, business interruption or any other indirect, special or consequential loss or damage caused to that business. However, nothing in this contract shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Neither you nor we will be liable for any delay or failure to perform our respective obligations under this contract due to circumstances beyond our own reasonable control such as acts of God, terrorism, civil commotion, riot, drought, flood, fire and legislation

16. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and we both submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. If any part of these terms and conditions that is not fundamental is found to be illegal or unenforceable, such finding will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of these terms and conditions.

17.  Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Shipping Policy:
1. We will hold orders that have back ordered items on, if the back ordered items are going to come into stock within 7 days.
2..We hold orders that have back ordered items on, if the back ordered items are required to make the whole order operate.
3. We will part ship orders (and only charge you ONCE for delivery) if the back ordered items will take longer than 7 days,
except for rule 2 above.

Delivery times for IN STOCK items:
UK               Next working day    -     Using Securicor Omega or Royal Mail.
Europe        1 to 4 working days       -      Using Omega, or Royal Mail.
Worldwide      2 to 14 working days

Delivery charges
Standard shipping charge for UK Customers on orders under £100 is £5.15 up to 1 kilo, £6.45 up to 2 kilos. Free on orders above £100
Europe £12.75
Rest of the World- £ 22.35   (No VAT)
